According to a study carried out by Credoc (Centre de Recherche pour l’Etude et l’Observation des Conditions de Vie, or “Research Centre for the Study and Observation of Living Conditions”) in December 2008 on 1,000 French salaried employees, 84% of respondents considered company complementary health cover to be a financial benefit. Company complementary health cover is fairly widespread, with 75% of companies offering it to their employees in one form or another.
